Caroline Spurr #3 (5-5, PG, Greensboro, NC/Greensboro Day HS) – Four-year member of the basketball program at the Greensboro Day School where she played for coach John Carty ... Mikaila Schmitt #40 (5-11, F, Orange, CT/Amity Regional HS) – Played four seasons and was a three-year starter on the Amity Regional High School team where she was coached by Michelle Martinik … Averaged 11.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game her senior year … Earned honorable mention acclaim on the all-state team … Helped her club to a 21-4 record her final season that included the program's second straight Southern Connecticut Conference Housatonic Division title … Was an all-area selection … Named by the New Haven Register as "Baller of the Week" on two occasions during her senior season … 2013-14 New Haven Tap-Off Club Scholar Athlete … Recipient of her team's 2012-13 Sportsmanship Award … Member of the Amity volleyball program … Served as co-captain for her Relay for Life team and volunteers at the Soup Kitchen of New Haven and Habitat for Humanity in Bridgeport … Organized a Cancer Awareness Pep Rally to further educate and get fellow students involved in the battle against the disease.
Dumebi Egbuna #55 (5-11, F/C, Clemmons, NC/West Forsyth HS) – Four-year veteran of the basketball program at West Forsyth High School where she played for Laquanda Quick … Served her team's captain as a junior and was a co-captain her final season … Averaged 7.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game during the 2013-14 campaign … Tabbed as Player of the Game vs. Butler after totaling 20 points and 10 rebounds … Member of three conference championship teams … During the 2012 season, she helped the Titans to a runner-up finish in the NCHSAA Class 4-A playoffs … All-conference honoree in 2013 … West Forsyth's Most Improved Player Award winner as a sophomore.
